This week, during the Women in Sage event (October 30 – November 4, 2025) in Tunisia, I heard a powerful advice from a wise mathematician, Dr. Marie François from Burkina Faso, President of the African Women in Mathematics Association. Speaking to young female mathematicians, she said: > “If I could give you only one piece of advice, I would say — never stop working, no matter what happens to you.”
